Aurora is a Top Down Knit Shawl with shoulder shaping. It is easily customizable. It is fully written and also contains charts to suit both those who like words and those who like charts.

I would rate this shawl at an Advanced Beginner to Intermediate, however, do not let the “rating” scare you! It is all Knits, Purls, Decreases, and Yarn Overs. πŸ˜€

Finished Measurements: 60″ across the top and 30″ deep

Yarn: Approx. 560 yds Fingering Weight yarn.

Needles: US 5

Pattern available for $6.50 and is payable by PayPal.

Pattern will be delivered via PDF download after receipt of payment. All pattern purchases are Final, NO refunds are given. Placing an order is an implied full and complete agreement with the policies. If you have any questions, please email me privately.

Beautiful!! I’m not going to buy it because I’m not good enough to make it. πŸ™‚ Maybe one day….she’s lovely though and I’m happy you got her figured out and hope lots of people buy the pattern.

Hi Tammy! I just placed an order – the shawl is gorgeous! I haven’t been able to get to the download yet, though — do you send a separate email for that?

When you say “customized,” can I do it with slightly less yarn to make a smaller size?

cozystitches - August 30, 2012

Hi Fran,

Yes, you can make it smaller by using less yarn. It is top down so you complete the repeats you want watching your yardage as you go. πŸ™‚

Hugs, tammy
